Working with your manager. Quarter

The people who do the work are not on your software. That is fine.

Your body corporate manager, the plumber, the broker, none of them will sign up to anything. Quarter reaches them by email, on the addresses they already use, and brings what they send back into the building's record.

Working with your manager in Quarter

What it does

Quarter emails them; they just reply
The request goes to them from the building's own address, with the context attached. They answer their email the way they always have.
Their reply lands on the job, not in somebody's inbox
It comes back onto the thread it belongs to, where the owner who asked and the committee who has to decide can both see it.
You can finally see how they are performing
Dates rather than opinions. What was sent, when, what came back, and what is still open. Most committees have never had this at renewal.
Quarter is not trying to replace them
A good BCM is worth paying for. A self-managing committee and a managed building pay Quarter exactly the same.

How it works

  1. Contacts are people, not user accounts. A contact needs an email address to be emailed and nothing else. No invitation, no password, no acceptance.

  2. Work is assigned to a contact, with a status, a date and its own thread. The thread is what the committee reads; the email is what the contractor answers.

  3. Owners reach Quarter rather than the committee, and Quarter works out whether the answer is immediate, belongs with a manager, or needs the committee.

Try it now

Watch it chase somebody who isn't here.

Ask the trial to get something out of a manager or a contractor. It drafts the email, says who it is going to, and the reply comes back onto the job.

No account, no email address. It's a demo building, so nothing reaches anybody's neighbours.

What it doesn't do

Worth as much as knowing what it does, and otherwise found out at the worst moment.
